COGNAC MILLÉSIME PETITE CHAMPAGNE 1967 DE MAXIME TRIJOL
TASTING COMMENTS
Intense mahogany color with golden copper reflections. Brilliant and clear. The nose is delicate and floral. The first ascending notes are those of iris, orange, dried fig, candied fruit and then sandalwood. After swirling, the rancio notes are clean and supple with lots of roundness. We distinguish notes of dried apricot, leather and nutmeg. The attack is lively. The aromatic notes are frank: floral to begin with, then spicy (cocoa, nutmeg). In the end, notes of rancio cover the palate with a gourmet note intertwined with flavors in a perfect harmony.
This vintage is rich and bears witness to the great complexity of the Cognac terroir. The sweetness of carnations and rancio is indicative of a high quality Cognac.
