COGNAC MILLÉSIME PETITE CHAMPAGNE 1968 DE MAXIME TRIJOL
TASTING COMMENTS
Aged gold with slight coppery tinges. Immaculate limpidity. Impeccable viscosity accentuated by the persistence of the legs. 1st Nose: Tremendous intensity with progressively intensifying aromas of candied watermelon and dried nuts. 2nd Nose: Creamy patinated wood accompanied by elegant floral notes balanced by a lingering rancio. A soft attack with an ample, round and silky character supported by a fusion of floral, spicy and fruit aromas held together by a delicate oakiness with a touch of rancio. The climax is brilliantly smooth and the aftertaste splendidly enduring. Worthy to be figuring amongst the nominees and winners of the spectacular eau-de-vie from cru Petite Champagne.
